Hey guys! My name is Alex, I am 24yrs old and am currently traveling around Japan! Have just finished 3 months in Niseko, Hokkaido and still have a few months left in Japan.
I've traveled all through Australia and Europe, have worked back home and overseas for a long time and am always looking for new experiences to challenge me.
I love hiking and climbing, skiing and surfing, learning new languages and cultures and everything travel.

Traveling has always been my favorite thing to do, and meeting people from all over the world and getting to know them is one of the best things about traveling. Getting out of my comfort zone is also always something I try and do, so couch-surfing has always been a perfect way to accomplish all of these things.

I have done a few incredible treks around Australia and Europe, including a couple of 10 day hikes that have been some of the most challenging things I have ever had to do. Hoping to climb a few of the mountains around Japan whilst I'm here!

Am always happy to help with teaching and practicing English with hosts, and in return love learning as much of a local language as I can! Am hoping to work for a travel company when I return to Australia and as such I love sharing my travel experiences with people and helping them with future trips and holidays.
