About Me
Hey there,
I am a student from a small city in southern Germany, right at the border to Switzerland. Until January I will do an exchange semester at STUST in Tainan in the beautiful country of Taiwan.
I am an open-minded person and happy to meet people to hang out with. Obviously it would be great to get to know some locals, but I'll be just as glad to meet fellow travelers as well.
Since I got classes in Mondays and Tuesdays, my trips will mostly take place from Wednesday to Sunday. Of course I'm always happy for anybody who can offer me a couch or any place to sleep when traveling. It's a great opportunity to get to know people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling around is all about meeting people, hearing their stories and realizing that in the end of the day we're all the same.
Basically I like staying in hostels, because you meet people from all around the globe. The problem is that you don't meet any locals there - and that's where couchsurfing comes in.
I am always grateful for the chance to ask locals about their culture, believes and the way people live. It's a great opportunity to really get to know a country.
Interests
A thing I love - besides traveling around of course - would be nice adventures. When I'm doing a trip I always try to get off the road because if you stay on a given way, you won't leave any footsteps (actually that's a cheesy phrase, I just really wanted to add it).
Well, additionally I do like hitchhiking very much (for me it's the couchsurfing of transportation). Other hobbies would be sailing, writing, photography.
Most people like hanging out and having a good drink with their mates - so do I.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open minded towards all kinds of music - as long as it's live, I like it.
Game of Thrones might be the best TV series I've ever seen, but I like The Walking Dead as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I came home from a year of traveling in NZ, I got bored after a week, so I simply went to the highway and asked people if they could take me wherever they were going. I ended up traveling all the way to the north cape of Denmark and back again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of time. I love to chat with people, hear their stories and learn from them. I believe that everybody is good at something, so everybody can teach me whatever he or she is good at.
