Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing that I can say about myself...I love to make connections with people; that is super important to me! I think that is also why I use Couchsurfing, to begin with. The cultural exchange is key! Also, I understand the joy and the difficulty (sometimes) of adventure: I like to extend my hand and help others enjoy their journey as others have done for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

ENGLISH:

I love many styles of music; I am a musician myself, I play guitar and bass guitar and I have been in a few bands. Definitely lots of rock and classic rock, heavy music, latin, ambient...anything! I am open!

Historical dramas are good films for me, I love science fiction, or suspense films. A good comedies once in a while also! Again, I am open to anything.

I read a lot, mostly articles in science, politics, society, the encyclopedia (yes, I know haha). Also, I read a lot of history of many different cultures. I love history documentaries, a lot. Some of them are so good. Like, really good!

Me gustan muchos géneros de música; yo también soy músico. Toco la guitarra y el bajo y ya estuve en unos grupos de rock. Definitivamente me gusta el rock clásico, la música más fuerte como el metal, la música latina (bachata, merengue), ambiental...¡Todo! ¡Soy muy abierto!

En cuanto a las películas, los dramas históricos son buenos para mí, me gusta mucho la ciencia ficción como Aliens, o películas de suspenso. ¡Una comedia buena de vez en cuando también! En realidad, estoy abierto a cualquier película.

Leo mucho, sobre todo artículos de ciencia, política, la sociedad, la enciclopedia (sí, ya sé jaja). También leo mucha historia de varias culturas. Amo los documentales históricos, también; algunos son buenísimos. O sea, ¡muy pero muy buenos! ¡Rebuenos!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped and slept outside several times in the very cold Canadian winter (-17 C).
I have lived in my car for a month while driving across Canada and through the mountains.
I bring my hammock almost everywhere I travel to sleep or nap in it!
I swam with a penguin.
I have made music with other talented musicians over the years.

I have met some amazing people in this world, and that is pretty incredible in itself.
