Hi, my name is Alex and I live in Hamburg. I just quitt my job at a music distribution company after working for five years there. I'm going to travel a little bit and come back in October 2017 to study cultural sience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm convinced that there are better ways of traveling than following city guides and attending to a singhtseeing-tour. I want to meet people who like to share thier views and thoughts as a local about thier city.

Interests

When I'm travellin I like to be outside, discovering new spaces and meet people.
Back at home I play the electric guitar in a (indie-)band and I'm pretty interested into music at all. Going to concerts or places with a good jukebox is one of my favorite things. I also DJ a bit in some of Hamburgs house and techno clubs.
Oh, and I love coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like the movies of the Coen Brothers or Tarantino, and I'm actually a lot into Netflix and series like Fargo or Bloodline.
I read the old classics from Hemingway to Carson McCullors and Dostojewski, and I also like books about psychology and philosophy.
It's almost impossible to define my favorite music - there is to much. I'm listening a lot to the new album of Anderson Paak or BadBadNotGood at the moment.
