Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've used couch surfing a lot through my travels but haven't made my own account until now. Most of my experiences have been great. I love meeting new people in their environment and getting to know a new city from their point of view.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Musicals! I love them. Phantom of the Opera, Dr Horrible Sing Along Blog, Repo: The Genetic Opera. Also animated films, anything by Studio Ghibli (Or more specifically Hayao Miyazaki) as well as most Disney/Pixar films. What can I say, I enjoy beautiful imagery and feel good story lines.

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music, there isn't a lot that I don't like. My favorite bands/artists at the moment are Oceansize, Ludovico Einaudi and Streetlight Manifesto.

Books! I read everything. I love Sci-fi, fantasy, biographies, memoirs, zombie books, all apocalypse books. Recently I just finished an Oliver sacks binge, before that I read Schools Out Forever by Scott Andrews (Apocalypse book series).

I could talk about books, movies, and music forever.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One amazing thing that I've done? I'm just going to list a few because I can.
- Hiked a volcano on an island off of Bali
-Naked bungee jumped
-Danced in heels until the early hours of the morning (all of those who wear heels understand how impressive this is)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm a good listener, I enjoy hearing what people have to say. Everyone has a story and I'm happy to hear yours if you want to share.
I have few skills to teach but I'm sure I could come up with something interesting, even if its as simple as making super awesome chocolate chip cookies.
As for learning, Im always happy to learn new skills. Half the fun of travelling are all the crazy things we learn each day!

I can make dinner and treats. I like baking. I also enjoy cleaning. It's a decent combo.
