Hi there! I come from Spain and I am travelling since last September, in my gap year before university. After studying english for 3 months in Ottawa, I have been travelling around Canada, and then I have came to Australia in January :D

I know spanish people usually have a very poor and bad english. At the same time, I have been told many times these last few months that my english is pretty good and that I don't have a strong spanish accent. I just tell you this because I want to make clear that comunication in english shouldn't be a problem at all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling around Australia and I have noticed I have no idea of how to travel.
I consider myself more a traveller than a tourist. I think every place has something unique, special and authentic, and touristic information, tours, etc don't show that beauty. I feel it is fake.
I like the idea of staying with local people, because they are the ones who can really show you the place, or at least help you to discover it by yourself!!!

Interests

ROLLER HOCKEY! Not the roller blades one, but the roller skates one, please nobody knows about this kind of hockey...
Only played professional in a few countries and still now Olympic sport (UNFAIR!).
Also, I like talking about good movies and books, related to my like for the enjoyable, deep conversations about life and any other interesting topics!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no favourite anything, because there is nothing perfect, and you cannot choose by comparing different things! (How to choose between, for example, Forrest Gump and The Lord of the Rings? Or between The neverendless story and 1984?) There are so many amazing movies, books, and songs...
I can mention that I really love Studio Ghibli movies, specially Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have past my 18th birthday in bed. I know, is amazing...ly sad; but I had got a terrible cold...
Amazing things? Right now I am in one! I have decided not to go straight to university and, instead, travel around the world for a year!!
