Hello, my name is Alex. I was born and raised in Miami. I love to stay active by practicing yoga and aerial arts. Hiking is a lot of fun too but there are no trails in Miami haha. I recently graduated college in April 2017 and now have the freedom to travel the world! I did a 2 month solo trip last summer and that was when the travel bug bit me. I have been working as an accountant for the past 3 years but will be quitting my job in February 2018 to continue my travels. Next stop is New Zealand! Hoping to continue on to Southeast Asia from there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost every genre of music. As a child I was very gifted when it came to learning instruments. Although I haven't played in many years, I hope to pick it up again one day and still have a great passion and appreciation for music. I also love to read books when I have the time. I like nonfiction or anything that grabs my attention. My favorite book is called Unbroken. I am not super into watching movies. I have a very active lifestyle and find it difficult to sit still for a couple hours haha.

I am kind of new to solo travel. I recently did a two month trip in Europe, the US and Canada. I am in the beginning stages of planning my next trip to New Zealand and Southeast Asia. I would love to hear stories of other travelers and I am open to any advice you have for my next trip!
