I'm currently a junior at Kansas State University studying music education. Something about combining my love for music and helping future generations realize their own passion for the musical arts really makes me feel content.
I'm a critical thinker and avid humanist, I really enjoy hearing peoples' stories and discussing experiences and other topics in depth. I can sometimes seem awkward, but I cover it up with humor so it's usually fine. But don't worry, for the most part I'm very easy to get along with!

I realize I'm a traveling newbie in comparison to a lot of the people on this site, but I'm hoping to change that. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, but being a poor, extremely busy college student has really gotten in the way of pursuing that passion. Hopefully being a part of a community like this will give me that extra push to get up and go somewhere, whether it's just one state over or halfway across the world.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music-wise, I'm a big fan of most indie and alternative genres. I don't like indie/alt just to make myself looker cooler than I actually am (that would take a lot of work), I actually find validity in the musical approaches a lot of artists in that genre take. I don't have as refined a palette as far as movies and books go, so I'm pretty open to a lot of things.

I honestly don't think I've done a lot of amazing, character-defining things. I learned to play an instrument, so that's pretty cool.

I like to think I'm fairly proficient at the bass clarinet, clarinet, and saxophone. I would be more than happy to share some music with future hosts! I'd also be perfectly content with just chatting over dinner or coffee, traveling is also about the people, after all.
I also cook a mean shrimp alfredo.
