I am 26 years old. I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and grew up in Israel until I was 9. My family now lives in Connecticut. I lived in Chicago for 5 years, and now I am in my last year of medical school in Buffalo, NY. I like to hike and travel. I've visited Ecuador recently and worked in a medical clinic in Xela, Guatemala.

I like meeting locals and learning about their cultures, backgrounds, and world views. I think its a much more interesting experience than staying in hotels/motels. I like hearing from hosts about the good places to visit. I am open minded and enjoy talking about most things.

I love backpacking and camping, I try to do a weeklong trek at least once year. I am pretty active and enjoy running and biking a well.
