I am a data science enthusiast with extensive experience in technology startups as well as using data
to work on solving some of the most pressing issues facing Brazil. I currently work for the Brazilian
government analyzing data to evaluate the efficiency of public policies. Previously, I developed Remote Sensing and GIS applications to monitor deforestation in the Amazon. I started my carrier as a technology entrepreneur and developed a system for remote vehicle video surveillance while finishing my B.S. in computer engineering from the leading Brazilian technology and engineering school, the Aeronautical Institute of Technology where I also obtained my Master’s and Doctorate degrees in computer engineering.
