I'm doing my first solo travel experience to Rio and am really excited for the opportunity to get to stay with someone local! A little about me: I live in New York City and am from the Midwestern part of the United States. I have traveled all over the world, and this will be my first trip to South America. I am a coach for entrepreneurs growing amazing businesses. I also invest in startups and real estate, and I am really involved in community programs that support youth across the US and eventually plan to work on projects that impact the entire world. I also have run two marathons and am in the process of training for my second Tough Mudder. I love to explore and am very easy going. My goal as a couchsurfer is to have a great time with my host and make it an incredible experience for them as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to have an authentic experience and really get a feel of the culture in the places I go. I have some tourist activities I will want to do, and my goal is really to get the local experience. I want to be a gracious guest and make sure my host has an amazing time with me there. I am hoping the experience can create connection and a long-term friendship. Either way, I am looking to have a great time.
