Hi everyone! My name is Alex. I am an artist and graphic designer living in Florence, Italy. I grew up in a small town in Connecticut where quite frankly there was not much to do or see. When I turned 18 I escaped the deathly boring suburbs to study in Italy! I was only supposed to stay for a year, but I loved the experience so much I decided make Florence my new home. Since then, I have become a gelato guru and have adapted to the 'live in the moment' lifestyle.

When traveling abroad, I am very passionate about a few things: good food, good company, and good art. I'm always in search of a new recipe to try, someone to chat about the most random/fascinating things, and the latest artworks from bright and upcoming artists.
