Overview
About Me
Peace Corps volunteer/English teacher in Rwanda, I live in a village/small town about 40 minutes north of Kigali by bus. Proud (but not too obnoxious) masshole. Studied economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning from them. I relish a good conversation on anything from books to music to sports to philosophy, especially when it's accompanied by a good beer (mediocre beer will do in Rwanda).
Interests
I love reading and discovering new books. Becoming more of a movie buff thanks to the peace corps hard drive. I love playing almost any sport, and being active in general is a key to happiness for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open on all of these things, though I would argue it's hard to beat some good classic rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived a pretty tame life thus far, so while I wouldn't consider it amazing in the truest sense of the word, living and working in Rwanda is probably it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very low-maintenance and open to just about anything different/exciting. If you're looking for something more tangible, in amassing a hard drive full of books, movies, and tv shows, which I am very willing to share!
