Hi! I’m Alex and I’m from the Netherlands. I’ve been working on a farm in NSW for the past few months and i’m now traveling the east coast just seeing where life takes me :]

I’m generally a calm and somewhat slow person, I like to take my time to appreciate everything and I’m learning to love that about myself.

My favorite things are animals, trees, rocks, cooking food (and eating it!), music, swimming and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I enjoy staying with people that know their way around and can maybe show me some cool spots to eat, chill or experience something new. I think it’s a nice way to get to know people that normally wouldn’t be in your social circle.

I can teach you some Dutch and German and something about tallships, rigging and what life on a ship is like. Depending on your cooking skills either I can teach you some or you can teach me some! I’d love to learn about the area and nature around where you live and really anything you’re passionate about.
