Greetings!
Unsure where to start so I guess ill list a few things and go from there.
I have always yearned to travel the world! I love meeting new people, learning about countries and cultures, in doing so, learning about myself too.
I've reached a time in my life where I need start setting up and completing my lifes goals and invest into my future.
Experiencing new people, foods, lifestyles and traditions really opens my mind to how life should and can be lived, and how happyness can come from within or from outside. I'm consistently a selfless person when it comes down to it and it brings me much joy to return the favor of laughter, happyness, insight to anyone willing. even if one does not expect me to return that energy ....why not.
Speaking of...I love to laugh and be free. i'm very spontaneous, motivated, curious, flexible and logical. I remain a positive person in a fairly corrupt sick world. I try to be higher self and in the here and now. Of course sometimes I fall short, but I believe that's because I keep letting my life be influenced by commercialized generic jobs and zombie like guidelines.Although i'm a very hard and loyal worker, How dare I waste so much precious time and energy. I think It's time to continue patience and just BE for a while.
I'm adventurous, open minded, funny, honest, respectful, polite, and excited! I am also a clean dude and respectful of peoples properties and possessions.
I have lived across the United States including Hawaii for a few years. I have lived with many people, both friends and strangers. I look forward to more.

I hope to travel multiple countries, for as long as possible, starting next year. I will start with China, Japan, Thailand. Scandinavia, Scotland, a few spots in todays U.S.A. including San Francisco California, Denver Colorado, and spend more time in Seattle Washington. My 2 weeks there was too brief and can't stop thinking about the seafood WOW.
I like seafood....a lot.
weird note: I love spicy food, really spicy! But dislike the direct taste certain peppers, including jalapeños. but love the heat and spice they provide as ingredients in food.

I've always had a fascination with travelling and experiencing different people, traditions and lifestyles. Both Urban and Rural. All my encounters so far have been great and/or a learning experience.
It's possible, and sometimes fun, to travel alone and attempt to meet helpful, open people in foreign territories just by talking to random strangers... but doesn't always work out safely or efficiently in the travelling time provided...and can be risky. Couchsurfing, from what i've read, and heard from friends, is a connection to someone(s) who has a similar curiosity and/or is just very kind and helpful already. I hope to find people that share similar interests and would like to show me their world and how they live, along with good street foods, nice day and night spots that your generic disrespectful exploiting tourists would not find or be at. I dislike how a lot of tourists treat other countries and cultures ive seen so far. puts a bad name out for us.

I figure it'd be more efficient and compatible to connect to a person via couchsurfing.

Instead of paying an unknown tour company, a lot of the time id prefer to pay an actual person who potentially has a nice personality, that has genuine knowledge of the area and possibly history, and i pay them with respect, friendlyness, money, and most certainly open invitations to do the same for them if they were to visit my home country.
Which brings me to this point.
Not only am I using couchsurfing to discover wonderful places around the world, but the wonderful people who host and live within these places. This is potentially a pleasant opportunity to make some excellent friendships and more!

I like to go to concerts/shows/symphonies, go outside into nature and bare the elements. sharing thoughts & theories about the universe, life, love, humor, etc. Listening to people and their stories/advice. My interests are always expanding and i'm always open to learning.
I've Always been fascinated with Asia and their ways of life, for so many reasons. I'd rather explain over time and in person. But im just so attracted to the people, history, terrain, lifestyle and mentality....from what I know so far. I hope to learn much more and to figure out more!

I listen to a HUGE variety of music. Raised on punk rock and metal & classic American rock.
I very much enjoy anything from death metal to trance and dance to classical. + so much more.
I even load up playlists full of game and movie themes/scores while I game, drive, or just when hanging out.
actually....i reeeally like game and movie themes haha.
Not a big reader YET. I don't mind it when studying or researching...but reading a large story book, I always fall asleep. I don't know if I just need to find something more interesting and grabbing, or I just am not a "reader" type yet. Always open to try again though.
I enjoy movies. Not too big on going to the theater though, because in america, a lot of the people who are in theaters are inconsiderate, rude, or loud....or act too standoff-ish.
over all though, i enjoy movies. Varieties of movies, foreign and domestic.
I like theaters for all other purposes though. Plays, music, other.

Made a decision within a week to up and move from Georgia to Maui with $600 and succeeded. ended up living out there for 3 years, I really matured and got to know myself much better. Made good friends, good awakenings.. happy few chapters in my life.

I moved back to the states because its time to save up and travel the world. There is SO much more to life then a 9-5 job, paying bills and dying. Realizing this before it's too late is an amazing thing i've done and would love to share.

Why I am maybe accepting guests at the moment:
I moved to Virginia due to a great job offer that will allow me to save up enough to travel the world comfortably. this is not a familiar place in america to me so i'd be great company but of very little help. I'd help us get lost....that's about the best I could do hahaha.
I will gladly help you with a free room for a night or two at the local hotel however if your really curious about Staunton.
