My name is Alex and I currently live in Scranton, Pennsylvania USA. I enjoy being outdoors and meeting new people! I am relatively new to solo travel and backpacking but so far from prior experiences, I have fell in love! I come from a boring town in which not too much happens so it is amazing to have the opportunity to travel and see new things. I am truly excited to meet up with locals and get a glimpse of what the local life may look like.

I am a polite person who respects other people's beliefs and values. Empathy is something that I think is important when dealing with other individuals. I enjoy going to church on Sundays and spending time with family. I cherish family values and hope to one day start a family myself. I love reading inspirational biographies and poetry about people who have reached their dreams. I strive to better myself through exercising, reading, meditating and connecting with others.

I am currently a student at a local university studying towards a job in healthcare as a respiratory therapist. I currently hold a job as a nursing assistant at a local hospital in a critical care setting. Some of my hobbies are: Hiking, fishing, reading and traveling. I was born in Kazakhstan but grew up in the USA. I speak English and Russian.
