I am a family girl. If I'm not working or sleeping, 9 times out of 10, you'll find me surrounded by my loved ones. I'm a bit of a film lover and after watching a movie once, I can quote it (almost perfectly). Meeting new people is probably one of my favorite things ever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I plan on traveling through Europe with my best friend and although we have saved quite a bit of money, I have heard that hostels can be expensive. I also hope to have some visitors in the future because, as I said, I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

Interests

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching movies/tv shows. I love having alone time as well and with that time I usually paint or write poetry.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a favorite band or song. I enjoy most music and anything rhat I can sing to, really. From classics to "radio music", I enjoy it all. My favorite movies are Inglorious Basterds, Drive, Oldboy, Singin' in the Rain, The Place Beyond the Pines, and Star Wars. My favorite books would have to be Angels and Demons and Tough Sh*t.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose an amazing thing that I've done is managing to get through my last year of high school affer my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia and our house suffered major flooding damage. Might I add that my classes were college classes.

Teach, Learn, Share

All I can imagine that I'd be able to "teach" someone is anything they'd like to ask about the USA. I want to learn how people live and what their customs are in different parts of the world. Although I do not try to be ethnocentric, I want to learn to think more broadly as far as the ways in which I do every day tasks. And when I go back to the USA and visit my family, I hope to share all of my experiences with them.

I'll share whatever a host will let me. If it's cooking them breakfast, telling them good movies, or even sharing stories, I am open to sharing.
