About Me
I am a postgraduate student currently studying Communication in Shanghai, with a focus on intercultural communication. After my first solo trip to Japan, I found my passion for exploring the world and started to become a backpacker. I wanted to learn about the lifestyles of people in different cultures, and in the process, I tried to break out of the constraints or blind spots of my own cultural framework to truly find my own way of life and construct a meaning for my own existence (I think it can also be a mutual thing).
I used to travel by staying in hostels in the hope of interacting with all sorts of people, and I loved it, but it's hard to connect with people in depth in hostels, but I think couchsurfing solves this problem perfectly and helps me to a large extent to really understand different people's lifestyles.
Aside from backpacking, I usually enjoy reading, working out (as an amateur), photography, playing console games, and mixing cocktails (even though I'm not a very good drinker hhhh)
