Hello! I'm currently an undergraduate at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. I'll be studying abroad for all of fall 2016 in Copenhagen. While in Copenhagen, I'll be completing coursework, as well as conducting research on the refugee crisis.

I am a former college basketball player and generally like playing any sports. I enjoy reading and writing, playing board games, conversations over tea or coffee... usual stuff, I feel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now, I'm trying to find a place to crash for a night before my housing is ready in Copenhagen! I suspect I'll be using Couchsurfing further during my stay in Europe.

Additionally, I believe in travel and community-- bringing together fellow humans from across the globe. So, in that regard, Couchsurfing is a splendid platform for bringing like-minded people together.

Interests

I enjoy playing basketball, reading, and doing anything active and outside including snow skiing, hiking, canoeing, biking, etc. If I'm not doing some type of reading or working out, I usually hang out with friends and go out on the weekends. I also like to write poetry and essays in my free time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I converted my mini-van into a "mini-RV," and traveled around the United States west coast. I did some WWOOFing, as well as lived with some other folks while working at a hotel.
