ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Alex, turning 21 in January and from the UK! At the end of November 2011, I left the UK and flew over to New Zealand. My original plan was to stay for a couple of months over the summer with family and ended up living and working in New Zealand for a year!

I spent my first 6 months in Auckland living with family and working in the city; being a Hostel Receptionist for YHA Auckland and a Food and Beverage Attendant at the Vector Arena (Got to watch some amazing shows and concerts for free!)

I then got a job at Mount Ruapehu for the ski season and spent around 5 months living the mountain life. Made some amazing friends from all over the world and learnt to ski for free; highly recommend doing a ski season if you've never done one!

I spent my last month in NZ hitchhiking around the South Island and got to see some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever come across! I'm a keen photographer so it was an amazing place for me to travel around!

I've well and truly caught the travelling bug and have now moved over to Australia on a one year working holiday visa in the hope of having another awesome adventure!

- Sky jumping from the Auckland Skytower (Awesome view!)
