Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The other day I joined the Victory day's parade held in Sevastopol, Crimea.
It was very moving. I was in a column of veterans marching along a main street. The viewers were applauding the veterans saying 'Thank you. We owe you so much. We are so grateful to you for what you have done'. I got a lump in my throat feeling the significance of the moment.
