Hello,

My name's Alex and Im a masters student at Southampton university studying maritime archaeology. I love travelling but as many have very little funds to be able to achieve this. I am half English (mother) half Scottish (father) but have spent my whole life living in the south of England, I like to believe I can be quite funny and always up for meeting new people and diving into new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing isn't just about saving money, I get to meet people from different cultures and who can help me really see the place that they live. I certainly not opposed to visiting the key places in cities but I also wish to glance at the true side of the place I visit where those who live within that setting spend their day to day lives.
