HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CouchSurfers is an incredible idea, and helps build the bonds of humanity through the concept of sharing. I've never taken advantage by using a couch, but I'm happy to offer my place to a weary traveller.

兴趣

I love being uncomfortable. New places, new people, new challenges. Anything to avoid routine! I love to write, but not for anyone else to read... which makes filling out this profile somewhat challenging.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. Feeling like the whole world was about to change while cuddling with friends for warmth at the Presidential Inauguration in 2008. Ahh, to be young and naive again...
2. Jumping off a waterfall somewhere in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Losing my glasses, not caring.
3. After a Summer volunteering at a school on the outskirts of a Peruvian city, a young girl at the school gives me a small stuffed dog as I am leaving. She has almost nothing--living in a room made of rock and mud, walking barefoot through sands and shards of glass, doesn't know what plumbing means--yet still shares what little she has. All my sacrifices become meaningless.
