ABOUT ME

I am traveler, curious about people and cultures. I grew up by the ocean in Peru, studied and worked in Europe and Africa. I am a business manager by training, and social entrepreneur, cook and traveler at heart.
My favorite ingredients of a perfect day: Friends, sea food, beach, salsa, and wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoyed hosting couchsurfers in Lima, Peru and in Germany. I made very good friends and learned a lot from them. I also stayed in couches in Europe and Latinamerica.
I love traveling and living each city as a local with local people, being an ambassador of Peru and sharing what I know and feel about other countries where I lived: Hungary, South Africa, and Colombia. And now living in Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in Germany in 2006 during the worldcup. Then I hosted several surfers and always attend meetings in all cities where I live and that I visit. I have met very good friends and have learnt a lot from CS guests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swam with Whale Sharks in Mozambique.
- Hiked the Lions Head and (half way) Table Mountain and Devil's Peak in South Africa.
- Safari in the Kruger Park for two days in South Africa.
- Swam in the Pacific, Caribbean, Adriatic, Asian Pacific, Aegean sea, Red Sea, Black sea, and Baltic sea.
- Crossing from Cambodia to Thailand by bus.
- Got lost in Varna trying to understand Cyrillic.
- Climbed to the Acropolis in Athens.
- Hitchhiking from the Andes to the Coast of Ecuador.
- Paragliding in the Red sea.
- Crossing the Baltic sea from Helsinki, Finland to Tallinn, Estonia by ferry.
- Paragliding over the Pacific ocean in Lima.
- Rode a four-wheeled motorcycle in the Egyptian Bedouins desert.
- Walked down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes by foot.
- Climbed the Mayan temples of Tikal (Guatemala) and Chichen Itza (Mexico).
- Spent Day of the Dead in Oaxaca, Mexico.
- Rode a scooter to the southernmost point of Taiwan.
- Spoked with a monk in the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
- Prayed for my fortune in a Buddhist temple in Kyoto.
- Gone from the Spanish-Andorran border to the center of Andorra la Vella in 15 min.
- Traveled in watataxi (ferry, "water taxi") in Belize.
- Ran out of gas in scooter in an island in Croatia.
- Discovered a cave bar in Prague.
- Felt shocked in Auschwitz in Poland.
- Froze ice sledding in Normafa hill in Budapest.
- Hiked the icy mountains of Zakopane in Poland.
- Tried to ski in Harrachov, Czechia
