ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Alaska. I love the summers here but I dislike snow! I have done a little bit of traveling, but would like to do much more in the not so distant future. I get itchy feet if I stay in one place for too long, I love to try out new places.

PHILOSOPHY

For a long time I had this very precise idea of where my life should be at certain points. I've since let go of that idea, and am much happier since! Now, as long as I am happy with where and what I am now, everything is all good!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I received my SCUBA certification while in college, and the open dive was one of the most incredible things I've ever done! I would love to spend more time diving.

Alaska is known as "The Last Frontier", and was the 49th state to join the United States in 1959. It is home to the highest peak in North America, Denali, which means "the great one" in Athabascan (also known as Mt. McKinley); it is 20,320 ft tall. The state sport is dog mushing. State mammal is the moose. State fish is the King Salmon, or chinook. State Mineral is gold. I could go on and on about my home state!
