I am an easy going and cool girl who likes to share with people, whether I am travelling or in my own city. I can sometimes seem shy at first, but after a glass of wine I become very talkative :)
I am a very discrete and respectful person, and I appreciate people who are, too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and meeting people from across the world. I think the best way to truly discover a city is through the people who live there as they can give you a glimpse of the atmosphere. My best traveling experiences have all involved meeting locals and participating in their daily life and habits. Also, I think sharing our cultures is the best way to build a better world.
I am quite curious and interested in pretty much anything.
My usual hobbies include reading, music, traveling, sailing, skiing and golf
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, from classical to variety, disco, dance or house music (although I must admit Rap isn't my favorite).
Favorite book? Hard to pick only one... I love Russian authors such as Tolstoi, English classics such as Jane Austen and French contemporaries. Also I must admit I have a thing for dystopias.
As for movies, I am very found of movies who leave me thinking even years after (e.g. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Vanilla Sky, Butterfly effect, Interstellar...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are so many amazing things I want to do, I can't even acknowledge the ones I have. I am sure you'll find out for yourself when we discuss. Not to mention that not all people find the same things amazing...
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really have a specific idea of what I could teach, but I guess that depends on what you would want to learn from me (languages? how we cook in France? about the french culture? from my academic knowledge? about the places I have seen?)
I think it all depends on you....
Same thing as far as I am concerned; I'm interested in everything the person I am talking to has to say.
Not to sound cheesy but there is always something to learn from another human being.
