ABOUT ME

Hi there, welcome Alex' Couchsurfing-profile.

I am a friendly, easy-going, sociable and accessible person. I participate in Couchsurfing to get to know people from around the world. The nice thing about hosting is that I make myself a good time while I try to make my guests have a good time by taking them to the mountains, sharing dinner, undertake daytrips,...

Currently I am not able to host Surfers, as I just moved from Salzburg to Basel and I live here in a shared flat. But I would love to share my time with Surfers. As you can see at my references I am well experienced with hosting Surfers and it always enriched my life. So although I can not host I still want to be part of the Couchsurfing community.

I am physiotherapist and expert in Spiraldynamik, a Swiss therapy concept. I work in a practice in Basel where I just do Spiraldynamik.
In 2012 I spent 6 months in South Africa, doing volunteer work for the Nazarethhouse in Cape Town. I worked there as a physio in an elderly's home and in a children's home for disabled children. But travelling didn't miss out either in this time. See my photos for some impressions!
Currently I work hard on my career by doing lots of advanced trainings.

I am a non-smokers, but I enjoy a glass of wine or a good beer in the evening with others.
I love animals with a fur (no, spiders don't have fur, they have just hair), so if you have a pet, no problem, you can bring it with you!

For me it is important to give every person a chance to get to know you. I try not to prejudice someone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am not able to host Surfers, as I just moved to Basel in a shared flat. Now I look for people to go climbing with outdoors and for hiking. I am new to Switzerland and I hardly know anyone and furthermore I also don't know the good climbing spots! I'd love to know someone who is willing to show me where the bear steps!

兴趣

I am a climbing-addict. I love the community in this sport, they are so close to nature and easy-going. Thus I spend summer-weekends in the mountains and my holidays at the good climbing spots in whole Europe. If you are lucky I can take you climbing! I also slackline and hike a lot.
I love to play board games, such as The Settlers of Catan, Andor, Dominion, Quirkle or Activity.

I love to read books, sleeping (oh yeah, sleeping!!!), meeting friends, getting to know new friends, learning new languages, chocolate.

I am a fantastic cook, so if you let me surf your couch, maybe I will cook you something typically Austrian!!

I fulfilled myself a life dream by moving to Basel and working in the Spiraldynamik Center.
