I recently started belly dancing and am falling deeply in love with it. I have also been a writer for the majority of my life but it has recently taken a back seat to dance. Above all else though, nature is my deepest love and companion.

My favorite movies are probably the Lord of the Rings Series, Titanic(sappy, I know), and Miyazaki's films.
My favorite music right now is honestly just kirtan and medicine songs. I haven't been listening to a lot of normal music as of late.
The same goes for books. The only types of books that I have been reading lately have been spiritual ones. Pema Chodron, Paramahansa, the Bhagavad Gita is a favorite for sure. Various texts really.

Well the most transformative time in my life was last year when I spent two months in a Soto Zen Buddhist monastery and I am about to return for another extended stay. I don't know if that is amazing for others but it was amazing for me.
