I live in Vancouver, Canada, with my partner Dexter, and until very recently, we had no room to host guests. We are currently travelling Europe - seeing friends, going to weddings, and visiting a few new cities along the way - and when we get back, we will be able to host, as we now have a living room.

I'm the curious type - I love meeting new people and learning languages - for me, the best part of travel is connecting with new people and perspectives.

I lived in Lyon, France, for four years, and speak fluent French (I am a French Immersion teacher in Vancouver) and am working on learning Spanish. While we've settled in Vancouver for the next little while, my partner and I plan to live elsewhere in the future, and to always keep learning.

Finishing my Masters in Education in French. Roof-top walking in Clermont-Ferrand. Visiting with seals while kayaking off Bowen Island. Driving from Lyon to Maglaj with many friends, in an old van covered in children's paintings, that only hit 100km/h on the downhills. Dancing on stage at Jazz à Vienne.
