ABOUT ME

Hello. I'm Alex, I studied biology at Oxford university and now I've graduated, travelled about Asia, and have been living in Korea since April because I want to learn Korean and like, do some charity stuff related to North Korea. I don't want to teach English full time and I don't want to pay for language courses sooooo I'm working on a farm near 국수역 (중앙호선) and learning English through the internet and with my friends. I don't want to think about what I'm gonna do when I go back to England next April...

얘러분 안녕! 알렉스입니다. 전 옥스보드 대학교에서 생물학 절업하고 아시아에서 여행 하고 한국에서 4월부터 살았어요. 전 북한인 NGO에서 일하고 싶니까 한국어 배우고 있어요. 전 영어 선생님 하면 영어가 너무 하고 대학교에서 공부 하는 것이 비싸서 전 한국 농장에서 일하고 농장 가족이랑 같이 살고 인터넷하고 한국 친구로 한국어 공부 해요. 재밌어요! 국수역 (중앙호선) 하고 집에 가까워요. 내년 3월에 영국에 갈떼... 뭐 하는지 몰라요 :0 ...곡종하지...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with only one person so far (who was great), and met like 3 other people through this (who were also great). I'm looking forward to when I can offer a couch in return.

Interests

At the moment speaking Korean is number 1. Other than that, I freaking love listening to music (The Cat Empire is my favourite band), playing music (bass, guitar, jazz piano, just enough trumpet to annoy any neighbours), errr racket sports I quite like, talking about biology, history or Adventure Time if that interests you, and just general stuff like chilling with friends and going out to bars and stuff. 소주 is an interest. As is 맥주. And, more recently, I have grown to enjoy 막걸리.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sean of the Dead is my favourite film. I like books but I can't think of a favourite... I could play it safe and go with Harry Potter? The Cat Empire are my favourite band.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English if you like (I'm a native speaker, and I taught English for a month at a Korean university last summer).
I can teach you how to improvise in music if you're interested, it's fun and not that difficult. Or I can teach you a song if you already play an instrument.
