About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 21 year old student from Vancouver, currently on an adventure. I am a vegetarian and a feminist and I drive a bicycle, not a car.
I started my 2007 Summer by moving to Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, and studying and working in French. After two months I moved to Montreal, and, at the end of August I will be moving to Lyon, France for an exchange year.
PHILOSOPHY
You know that film called "Pay it Forward"? I've never seen it. But the idea in the title, cheesy as that may be, really appeals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not yet in France, but I'm hoping to be able to afford to rent a place with a couch that could be surfed, and when I get back to Vancouver, my couch most likely be surfable as well.
Interests
I love to travel, meet new people, drink wine, read lit and theory, speak French, learn, listen to music, cook, see shows, have dinner parties, write, volunteer, hike, go to museums, go biking... that kind of stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I had hippie parents, and haven't ever seen much TV or many films.
I listen to all sorts of music, and read a lot. Some of my favourites are Mikail Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita", John Steinbeck's "A Russian Journal", Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited" and George Orwell's "Homage to Catalonia". And like all good Lit majors I have a crush on all the modernists, and a penchant for Chaucer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an excellent vegetarian cook, and I know how to juggle (for whatever good that is...). I'm also pretty good at Scrabble.
