If I have learned one thing from travelling, it's that there is always, always someone willing to help or show kindness, and that you can never really be alone, even in an unfamiliar place. Over and over again I have been surprised by the amount of love I have been shown by total strangers, to the point where I am no longer convinced that I have just been "lucky" to stumble upon such wonderful people.
