If your a "Scrubs" fan- I'm a mix of JD and Elliot's characters and it's a wonder how I walk out the door with matching shoes on sometimes...oh wait...I have gone to work without matching shoes on. In my defense it was dark. Simple guys that loves life.

ABOUT ME

I value the statement from Gandhi to "become the change you wish to see in the world" and I try to apply this into every facet of my life. I am a simple guy who is eclectic in my tastes and people. If you've ever seen Modern Family...I am a little crazy like Claire and looking for my hot dorky dedicated Phil to balance me out.

I am clumsy, have 2 left feet and talk/laugh too loud. I read every night before I go to bed and cuddle on the couch. I'm a big kid and love cartoons, horror movies and comic books. I enjoy the outdoors, photography, darts, trivia, skydiving, roadtrips and cooking.

I lift weights and have a life plan to finally achieve a six pack but my love of good cooking constantly thwarts me. This does not keep me from being athletic and fit. I am a self- identified chocoholic.

I work as a HR Diversity Partner for a Global Consulting firm which allows me to fight for things that I believe in. I absolutely love kids, am a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters and knew I wanted to be a father before anything else in life.

I work from home and virtual so it allows me the luxury of travel. I have been to 47 of the 50 states and looking to start a new chapter in my life this year and a new place to live. Since I have not decided where I am going to live...I am currently in transit at a buddy's house until I decide where I want to build a home.

I am a good cook, come from a polite and respectful southern home, professional and clark kent quality kind of guy. I am looking forward to seeing what the New Year brings and hopefully make some friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be making several trips to Austin and NYC this year, as well as Portland, Boston, Atlanta and Columbus, as well as explore Dublin and the UK. I'll be traveling alone and looking to make some new friends, see what support systems are available in these cities and looking to see what these cities have to offer in regards to building a home. Due to the all the travel and approaching move...I'd like to save some money and meet new people in the process. A friend of mine, recommended the site.

Once I get settled and find a home of my own...I hope I can give back to the community and make a couch of my own available ;)

As I grow older I don't know how much I truly know that is of value. LoL. I grew up with a father who was a preacher and have a strong background and knowledge in theology. I am an avid reader, comic book guru, film buff and a wealth of useless facts and trivia. I pretend I am good at darts, but, my closest friends will tell you that I can mostly teach you about things from the heart and soul.
