I'm a 30 year old single male with no dependants. I worked in hospitality for many years, gradually increasing my interest in wine. Finally made the switch to production and am now on the well trodden path of chasing vintage, working in wineries and vineyards surrounding myself with the thing and people that I enjoy most in the world.

I love music. Too many styles to note, let alone artists. Favourite all time band would be Led Zeppelin though.
Movies, again, too many to list, depends on my mood. Oldboy is pretty consistently near the top of the list though.
Books, well, most recently got into Charles Bukkowski. Previously enjoyed Neil Gaiman, love terry pratchett, Haruki Murakami. Enjoy some non fiction from time to time too. Currently reading "Understanding wine technology" and constantly referencing the world atlas of wine!

I dropped everything to go and house sit for some friends in the south of France for 6 months.
I moved to a slightly remote house, in a country who'se language I did not speak, where I didn't know anyone.
The experience was enlightening. I learned a lot about myself and had plenty of time to study!
6 months with just yourself and a cat both teaches you to appreciate conversation and how to be happy with your own company.
Plenty of time to expand my cooking repertoire too!
