Kia ora!
I'm from a small town in the north of Aotearoa (New Zealand), and have spent the last few years travelling around, volunteering and working my way through Europe and Latin America.
I'm a musician and writer, sort of folky stuff, I like songs which tell narratives and have spent the last few years trying to learn how to make a proper living from it, which is difficult, but getting a little bit closer all the time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I much prefer to meet people who live in the places I visit, rather than just other travellers, makes me feel like I've actually experienced the place a little more!

Interests

I like to do a bit of everything, photography, hiking, dance etc. I fell like they're all symbiotic, really just tryna figure out how to live a nice, happy, balanced life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I music I go for Jazz, or anything which feels like the musicians are in conversation with one another, so for that reason I'm a big fan of traditional musics from all around the world and I love seeing how a theme or song mutates and changes over time and in different places.

For books I'm a nerd and like Ulysses. I've been re-reading that mother for a few years now, but I'm interested in anything that will teach me a different perspective.
