Right now i am spending a year in England studying at the University of Kent. I have a student visa for the U.K. so at the very least you know i am not a terrorist, have not committed war crimes and have not partaken in genocide (those were real questions to get the visa). I currently work in a bike shop part time to try and learn all i can in a year. I am an American, so we can laugh about trump together... or cry probably cry. I am a marketing and buisness management major with a minor in philosophy at uni.

I am interested in almost any form of adventure, and while I love exploring new cities, the best places for me are found out in nature. If there is any place you want to explore i will probably be up for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always interested to meet people from new areas because it seems to be the best way to explore any new destination. While hostels are great places to stay at, sometimes nothing beats the feeling of being at home while traveling, no matter who's home it is.

Interests

I love skiing (so much so i want to work there after uni for at-least a year)
I play ultimate frisbee a lot, but i know almost no one knows what it is.
I have played tennis for 5 years and coached it for 2 and a half.
Love working on bikes, but am still working on long distance riding.
I like learning about foreign politics and policies, but know when to stay quiet.
I like reading books and watching movies, but do not really enjoy tv shows.

I like almost every kind of music as long as it has meaningful lyrics and a decent melody.

Favorite books used to be Harry Potter but i am working on changing that.

I want to learn about anything you feel is important to your world, or the problems you might see. What ever you find fascinating i'm sure i would be willing to learn something, unless it is mandarin that is too hard.
