I was born in Belgium and lived there until I was 10, then I moved to Venlo (Holland). At 17 I went to Eindhoven (Holland) to study physiotherapy and that's where I've been living since, it's a nice place to live :-) . At the moment though, I'm having a little adventure working as a physio in Switzerland.I worked in Wengen for some months and am currently working in Malters, near Luzern.
I'm a very calm person, though there are exceptions of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people as a host or as a guest when travelling. I have a nice studio in Malters, which is close to Luzern. There are some nice mountains nearby also (Pilatus and Riggi). From my place it s a 15 min walk to the train station and then a 12 min ride to Luzern. In the weekends we can do sth together.

Interests

I like thinking.

Languages, though I'm not very good yet.
I like travelling, especially when it's a bit adventurous (hiking, biking)
I like nice (vegetarian) food.
I really enjoy sports. I've enjoyed doing a lot of different things: Judo, running, fitness, biking, diving (from a springboard/platform), freediving, bouldering, chilling in the park and slacklining and practising some handstands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last winter (2014-2015) I biked from the Netherlands through Germany, Czech Republic and Poland to finally arrive in Kiev, Ukraine. This pretty much had everything in it that I liked. New and sometimes intense experiences, adventure, sports, nice people, languages, lots of food, singing on the bike (when no one was around), thinking on the bike, or just relaxing on the bike.
