My name is Alex, I am 20 years old student from Ukraine. I grew up in a small town in the western part of the country, among the breathtaking mountains and dense forests. I am fond of nature, but at the same time I am fascinated by the cities and the man-made landscapes.

While I like to travel with comfort, i.e. staying at the hotel or at a rented flat, there`s no denial that spending time with locals helps you to fell the atmosphere of the country. The true happiness in traveling is sharing with natives, and learning new things from them. Couchsurfing gives an opportunity to meet new people all around the world and make new connections, which I am really eager to experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It was 2016 when I decided to take part in Summer Work ans Travel USA program. I managed to successfully pass all the preparations, like applying for a job and getting a visa. After that I have spent 4 months on a different continent all on my own, running my budget, planning life ahead and getting prime experience, which I consider to be vital in my future.
