About Me

I am a very enthusiastic person.
I do my Ph.D. in economics and work as an asset manager (in general, buy and sell shares & bonds, place deposits on behalf of a client). My major is finance, however, I also hold a degree in computer science.
I dream of making a round trip one day.
I would like to live a quite life in Provence when I grow old, and make wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience sensations associated with travelling and I want to share them. Couchsurfing gives a great opportunity to do both.

Interests

I am into a vast array of things. I am a foodie and have a passion for art, tech and languages. I have experience with several start-up projects. In the meantime, my daily occupation is more prosaic as I work in finance. Nevertheless, finance is what I eagerly cherish. I have a passion for finance, that lays an imprint on my interests, routine and plans for the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been asked to buy the tickets for the premiere in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. However I overslept, and they dumped me at tickets office, since no tickets were left. At this point, I had limited options on how to deal with the situation I found myself in. However, I managed to get into the administrative building right in the middle of charity concert, that gave me an access to concert hall administrator. This pleasant woman not only gave me an invitation, but also arranged a special seat at the scene. Eventually, I found myself in the company of renown Russian musicians. This story taught me to never back down.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only foreign language I am fluent in is English. I am convinced that it is hardly enough. Therefore, I am eager to study foreign languages.
I want to share my culture and to learn from others, since it solidifies the character.

Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Sweden, United Kingdom
