Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet free-spirited, open people so the concept speaks to me. It's also a great way to meet new people in general.

Although I must admit that I've never stayed at someone's place through Couchsurfing (I always stay in the cheapest room in the cheapest hostel), I've used it on numerous occasions to go to events in the place I'm visiting.

Music: basically anything, as long as it's not too extreme.

Movies: I like most genres, except horror.

- random open air cinema playing old Tom & Jerry cartoons while I was getting lost in Budapest with a friend.

- Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon.

I can teach the Belgian ways of beer, waffles and (Belgian) fries. I'm somewhat skilled in origami and I can teach you how to use Office.

Furthermore, I'll gladly teach you some phrases in Dutch, French or English.

Thanks to Ryan Air, I've become incredibly proficient at packing enough stuff to stay somewhere for a week in a standard suitcase.

I can help around the house or apartment and can do basic repairs. I know my way around a computer.

I can share some stories and I'd love to give you tips on any places I've visited before, maybe take along some maps I have left.
