Every being and object has a life. My mission is to spend time with those objects and people, leave a lasting impression, and pass them on.

ABOUT ME

I am a clown. I'm quick with a joke and always game for a laugh. I'm easy going and I'm pretty flexible with almost everything. I am a caring individual that would give you the shirt off my back and I would share my last dollar with you... even if I just met you. I'm a story teller and can turn the most mundane evening into a series of fortunate/ unfortunate events in four part harmony. I enjoy the adventure of life. I like walking out of an all night party with the intention of going home, just to find another party that is still going strong. With my flexible attitude towards life, I can find myself in some strange situations and when that happens I know the story the next day will be that much better.

PHILOSOPHY

As my mission states, I believe everyone and every object to have a life. Just because you don't use that bike anymore, doesn't mean it is useless. That bike has a life. When you find a bike at a garage sale, think about how many miles that bike has traveled before you found it (or more importantly, it found you). I found a book in Cardiff, Wales that traveled there from a second hand bookshop in Nerdsville, Minnisota USA. I read it and left it on a bus in Derry, Ireland. The universe is in constant motion and we are lucky to be apart of it. What will the universe offer you today?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie. I am looking to write you in here as my first experience.

Interests

I enjoy saying funny things into a microphone. I write and perform my own stand-up comedy. Last summer my friends and I put together the Fambly Band. It was a show with multiple performers and acts that would performed in and around Milwaukee's ample bar scene. A mix of Americana Folk and comedy which always equaled a night of fun. I am also a huge movie nerd which lead me to take a film class last summer (and even though I am an English major), I wrote, filmed, and directed a short film last summer. We also then shot a music video with a sock puppet I made. Check out the links below...

To many to name. I am a media junky and can talk about Movies, Music, and Books for ages.
Doctor Who, Chris Farley, Blue October, Irish Folklore (any folklore for that matter), Rolling Stones, The Killers, 24, Breaking Bad, Weeds, The Big Wu, O.A.R., Braveheart, The list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite spot in the world is the south end of the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. The place is called Hag's Head and it is the most absolute beautiful spot in the entire world. Every time I visit Ireland I am drawn to that place and my imagination just comes alive.
I spent nine years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and that took me to Iraq twice. While I was there on my first tour, I was a week away from going home to Wisconsin on leave when my truck was hit with a roadside bomb. Our lives were saved because the laser tripwire was set for 35mph and I was driving 55mph. The round which was called an EFP-IED went behind our vehicle and blew up a sand pile on the other side of the road. Hairy situation yet here I am to tell the tail.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite good at problem solving. I always carry a flashlight, a multi-tool, a corkscrew, and a bottle opener (church key). You have a "to do" list around the house, I'm a trained handyman.
