I must admit the idea of getting free accommodation is appealing, but I think the real interesting aspect is to meet different people, learn from them, experience the different ways people think. In truth it is probably a lot easier to just book a hotel, but you don't get to be a guest, you are just a client. Being a guest changes things. It is one of the most ancient of relationships.
