My friends would call me a nice, although very sarcastic, guy. They would tell you that I am easy to get along with and have a pretty great sense of humor. Most would say I am completely reliable and honest, and I am loyal as well. Plus, I've got a sweet beard.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated both as an avid surfer and host during my time abroad, and would like to continue to do more of both back here in the United States.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure to meet many wonderful people during my couchsurfing travels, and I met even more in my own apartment as a host. I believe couchsurfing offers a truly unique experience that you can't get from hostels or hotels. Meeting and connecting with locals is my favorite part of taking trips to new places, and that is what couchsurfing is all about.

One of my favorite experiences was biking around Copenhagen, visiting the Carlsberg Brewery, and sampling the local cuisine with my host and his friends who all welcomed me and my traveling companions with open arms. We ended with a night of drinking and dancing aboard a yacht, and the entire experience still seems surreal to me. I hope that I can give a similar experience to others through my hospitality in the future.

Interessen

Architecture is one of my greatest interests in life, and it is constantly consuming my thoughts. I love to wander and explore new cities, taking in all the unique buildings as I go. When I'm not taking in the sites I like to play tennis with friends, bike, eat great food, and drink beer, lots of beer.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

If there is one thing I could teach anyone, it's how to make the perfect egg in a basket. I could also teach English, guitar, beer appreciation, and how to dance very averagely. My brain is full of general trivia knowledge that some people might find enlightening, and I can show anyone who's interested how to swing a tennis racquet. Some things I'd like to learn include:
