Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted an argentinian guy in the past when I had space and couch, which was quite fun and lead to interesting discussions and insights into daily live there. I guess that's how it should be?
So now I'd like to surf a bit myself.

Interests

My main interests are currently music, technical gadgets and martial arts.
I play the guitar, teach the longsword, code the Oculus Rift, dance the Lindy Hop and cook whatever I feel like. :)

For science fiction books I'd say Dan Simmons Hyperion Cantos and Georg RR 'finish-the-next-book-already" Martins Game of Thrones series for fantasy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've studied the martial arts of medieval germany and italy quite a bit if you're interested in history, but only ask me about this if you're in for a long talk. :P

Besides that, I can offer to cook and since I was told by Swabians even, that my cooking was "not entirely bad" I think that translates to "pretty good!" in the rest of germany. :)
