ABOUT ME

I'm a fairly confused person, but am trying to make sense of things best I can. Constantly I feel in awe of this world that I exist in and it's many bizarre aspects that are always tossing me into sadness, bliss, wonderment, or anger. I am always seeking out beauty, regardless of how strange and powerful it might be. It is my obsession.
My friends would say that I am very pleasant to be around, and I like to think of myself as fairly considerate. Listening comes very naturally for me, when listening to honesty. I like to pry into people's heads, and understand that it is they really feel. I have very little patience or desire for superficial relationships.

PHILOSOPHY

Explore yourself. Push no feelings away, even those you don't understand. Worship the sun. It may not be omnipresent, but its the only god we will ever have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Soon I hope to participate by going and staying with lovely generous people who will let me sleep on their couch. I'll probably use their kitchen to make them a nice dinner, and share my company listening to music, drinking, and talking.

Currently I don't have a home of my very own, but when I do I'd love to have strangers come and do the same.

Interessi

I have an addiction to taking photographs, especially when I am somewhere new. And I love watching people, so its hard for me to resist taking photos of them.
I write poetry and random thoughts...
I think too much so sometimes I get insomnia, and spilling my emotions into words is the only way to get some sleep.

I'm ravenous for any kind of art: poetry, music, visual art, photography, film, literature, etc., so long as it was made in honesty and inspiration.

I like a wide variety of books, anything from french existentialists to cheesy sci-fi/fantasy. I'm somehow particular about what I read though, and drop most books I pick up.
I'm currently reading:
Nausea by Sarte, plays by Oscar Wilde, and poems by Emily Dickenson.
Some writers I love:
Yukio Mishima, Mervyn Peake, Federico G. Lorca, Albert Camus...

I've lived 24 years, and seen the world through wobbly eyes.
I've held a newborn.
I've watched the slow death of a fallen bird.

I can play the violin a little, and make sourdough levained bread. I can share some Alexander widsom.
