Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. I have however been active in hosting guests from various different countries through other sources. With my connecting to this network I hope that is is something that can be done to a greater extent.

Interests

I have a huge interest in international topics, and am currently the president of an organization at our university that strives towards an increased consciousness to the opportunities that can arise from looking abroad to widen your perspectives. In our attempts to do this we're working hard towards an increased integration of our exchange students, by organizing trips around Europe and creating new bonds between universities around Europe.

Aside from this I love football in general, and Spanish football in particular. With close ties to Argentina I have a country that I'm rooting for in the current World Cup, and many to come.

I love music and reading, which I tend to do a lot of. I tend to read many genres, but mainly novels and A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin occupies a special place in my heart as well as my brain.

My first and best concert memory is from Iggy Pop in Stockholm from 2002. As a ten year-old my dad brought me all the way to the front of the concert and I got to see my childhood idol from up close. It got so far as to that when he threw beer into the audience it hit me. Apparently the concert wasn't all that great, but I was starstruck and have kept loving the music ever since.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most impressive thing I have ever seen was the Perito Moreno glacier in southern Argentina. Millions and millions of cubic meters of ice and snow. I got the opportunity of taking a hike on said glacier and it was, by far the most incredible thing I have ever seen.
