ABOUT ME

I am thirsty for knowledge and like to learn to know new people and their attitudes. For me, I would say, that I'm very accostable, sometimes a little bit restrained. But apart from that I'm an open minded guy, interesting in all what other people have to say and to tell me about their life.
I always try to be a positive thinking person, because I think, it's the better way to get though life and challanges.
Arts and music are issues that I really like going to concerts, read books, see cities and art.
I wasn't not a big travellor so far, but I'd like to become a person who travels around the world, seeing new places.

PHILOSOPHY

everything will be fine.
Not so long ago I was a very pessimistic person, everytime expecting the worst. But that's an exhausting way of going through life.
What ever happens, I try to make the best of every situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment only surfing. I like to learn to know people in the cities I visit.
In future, when I'll back in the city of my university I can imagine to become a hoster.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn't have much expierience with CS. Friends told me positive things about this platform, that's why I try become a surfer.

Interests

I'm interested in many differend things, that's why I just list them.
- learning foreign languages
- learn to know foreign countries and places
- literature and books
- arts and architecture -> that's why I like to visit old cities and museums
- music, in particular classical music, my big passion
- playing the piano
- cooking
- history and geography -- books with those topics I could thumb through for a lot of hours
- swimmng and fitness
- making radio shows like features

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't see films very often. But I like to go to the cinema or see films at home together with friends.
I like films with a touch of fantasy or with an historical background.
Classical music is probable my favourite type of music. I like Brahms, Mahler and Franz Liszt. Otherwise I hear popmusic as well.
Some years ago I read a lot of books in a really short time, but at the moment I read books rarely. Nevertheless I love books and literature and reading. My favourites are "The lord of the rings", "Eating animals" by Jonahan Safran Foer and "Night train to Lisbon" by Pascal Mercier.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
- musical theory, playing some things one the piano (I play it for some years)
- german
- I can tell a lot of about music and arts, I enjoy discussion about that topics

I'd like to lern:
- other ways of living, other attitudes to life
- different ways of ccoking
- foreign languages, especially italian and french
