ABOUT ME

I'm 31 years old originally from Omak, WA but now living in Campbell CA in the Bay Area. . I work at a comapany that provides enrichment classes for in civics and social studies for elementary students using LEGOS. I have studied anthropology and archeology as well as education. I love my profession and I love to travel . I also love experiencing the world through food. I feel the most content when I am out experiencing nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in educating oneself through experiences. Each experience good or bad is added to my toolbox to be used later. I encourage everyone to take the many opportunities that life offers. Don’t be afraid to take the leap. Don’t be afraid to fail. Only through failure can we truly learn and grow. Each day is a new day so live in the moment. Forgive yourself and others. Love yourself and others. Kindness is cool people. Stay cool.

I like classic thrillers like the Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Leon the Professional, Twelve Monkey, ect. I read a lot of nonfiction about history and anthropology .I like all kinds of music. I like the hip hop greats like Biggie but also Mos Def and Talib Kweli and other underground artists. I like reggae. Bob Marley is my favorite artist. I also like Jazz, especially artists like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Art Blakey and others. I also like folk and rock.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing things I have done and seen were during traveling. Traveling Southeast Asia was amazing. I loved the small islands in the South of Thailand and staying with Mon people in the Northeast of Thailand and visiting beautiful temples all over Thailand. Anchor Wat in Cambodia was extremely amazing and spiritual. Hanging out for a week on Phu Quoc island Vietnam for a week was great. I stayed Takaragawa hot springs in Japan and that was absolutely amazingly wonderful and relaxing. Staying at Buddhist temples in South Korea was life changing as well. Also just teaching my student and seeing them improve and grow is quite amazing for me.

I have taught a lot of people how to speak English. The last two winters I taught about 10 friends from various countries to snowboard. It was fun I can teach you! Just ask! I have taught people how to swim. I would like to learn more about backcountry snowboarding. I hike a lot but I want to do some more alpine climbing. I like to kayak but I want to go on some longer tours and kayak camping. I want to learn to tie knots. I can teach you to cook some Italian, American, or Korean food. I always want to learn more about cooking.
