I am a young student from Denmark, very occupied with travelling. I love experiencing new cultures and the wealth of opportunities they bring. I feel that couchsurfing serves as a great alternative way of travelling for people who are short on money, but also for those who are willing to go the extra step to truly visit a country as it is, getting to know local people and cultures. From my experience using couchsurfing, hosts and surfers are some of the friendliest and most adventurous people i have ever met. They greet you as you are, expecting only the same in reciprocation. This is why i am on couchsurfing. Of course hostels or hotels can be enjoyable, but as a solo traveller, couchsurfing is the most valuable discovery i have made.

I really enjoy old rock, especially the 70' greats like Creedence Clearwater Revival or Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and the likes.
