About Me

I used to travel a lot during the times I was a student. Not long after I finished my studies I moved to France and started to explore this country, moving from place to place. I kept traveling but in a way less adventurous style. I plan to travel more in the future but for now I am happy to hear your stories, so feel free to drop me a message to hang out or maybe to host you if I am available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it would be a better experience if I met up with locals in the places I travel to. This because they know the places and they may show me around, give me a piece of advise or maybe even host me.
At this point, I am not very stable regarding the place I live, so I would keep moving and have different accommodations. If the place where I stay can fit another person, I am very open to hosting travelers. Check out “my home” which I try to keep updated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on my mood, I listen to different music genres: I do not have a favorite genre.

I like dramas and adventure movies (but not only). Some of my fave: The way back, Cloud Atlas, War Horse, Perfume: story of a murderer, Head in the clouds, There will be blood, Lion.
Series: Game of Thrones, Vikings, Taboo, Da Vinci's demons, Myth Hunters, Knightfall, Peaky Blinders, La Peste, La casa de papel

I am more into history books, but I also enjoy good novels. Some of my favorite: Camelot - l'invenzione della tavola rotonda, Arthur Trilogy, The Gambler, Ion, Wuthering Heights, Padurea Spanzuratilor, One Hundred Years of Solitude.
I've been reading about vikings and about the legend of King Arthur, which are topics I really enjoy, along with the Templar Knights.
I plan to read more classics in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took part in a protest.
Walked amoung the ruins of Pella, the birth city of my favorite leader.
Sang on a stage.
Lost myself in a big city.
Let monkeys climb on me.
Went during night time with a boat on a river surrounded by fireflies.
Slept in a bamboo floating hut, in a remote area without electricity.
Drank in a pool at midnight with people I'd just met.
Watched a lot of sunsets in many beautiful places. And I love sunsets.
Won some dollars at the roulette in a casino in Las Vegas.
Been a teacher for 6 weeks.
Traveled by myself in Central America.
Jumped in a natural pool from a considerable height, in spite I'm afraid of heights.
Seen one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.
Befriended with locals during a long bus ride in Georgia, in spite we did not speak a common language.
Rode the steepest cable cars in the world.
